 The last 30 minutes of the day are very busy.  Students and staff are finishing lessons, passing out papers, packing up, and getting in groups for dismissal.  For this reason we ask that you not check out your child after 2:00 pm.  By not interrupting the end of the day procedures we ensure that all our students are dismissed, safely.

 

 

 

 

 

  Attendance goal for this year:  97% or better;
  let’s make sure that all our students are present
  and on time, each  day.

 

 

 

 

 

Our 3rd, 4th & 5th Graders will be taking the STAAR Tests on the following days:
May 9th, 10th, & 11th, 2016.
Campus visitors will be not allowed into the school during state testing days.  This includes all lunches. Drop offs may be made in the front office for students who are not testing ONLY. 

 

 

 

Field Day is scheduled for Friday, May 20th, 2016.  More information as to grade level times will come closer to the event!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 * Registration will be on campus May 23rd & 24th from 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
 *Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM
 * Packets can be picked up and returned anytime during this window
 * PreK - Please bring any qualifying papers
   (i.e. active military ID, income documents)

 

 

Hartman’s Scholastic Book Fair will be Thursday,
May 12th-Friday, May 20th, 2016. 

Family Night will be Thursday, May 19th from
2:30-6:00 p.m.


On Friday, May 20th, the book fair will close at 11:00 A.M. We are no longer
able to accept checks. Cash and credit cards are welcome. 

 

 

 

 

 We invite  you to a Summer Reading Night
 on May 26th, 2016 at 6:00 PM

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 No SCHOOL on Monday, May 30th, 2016.
 Classes will resume on 
Tuesday, May 31, 2016.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 We are about to close another successful year at Hartman Elementary, and we encourage all of our parents  to join us for end of year awards to recognize our students.  All awards ceremonies will be held in the  cafeteria and listed below you will find the date and times for each grade level.

 


First Grade-Tuesdeay May 31st, 2016 @ 8:30 AM
4th Grade-Tuesday May 31st, 2016 @ 1:30 PM 
Kindergarten-Wednesday June 1st, 2016 @ 8:30 AM
2nd Grade-Wednesday June 1st @ 1:30 P
3rd Grade-Thursday June 2nd, 2016 @ 8:30 AM
5th Grade-Friday June 3rd, 2016 @ 8:30 AM

Please help us support our students and another great school year.

 

 

 

 Student medication will not be stored in the clinic over the summer. All medication MUST BE PICKED UP BY AN ADULT.  It cannot be sent home with students. The last day to pick up medication from the clinic is June 3 at 11:30 AM.  If your child gets any new vaccinations over the summer, please make sure to provide the school with a current shot record. If your child is diagnosed with any new health conditions, please get documentation from the doctor to share with the school. We appreciate you keeping us notified of any changes in health history.

 

 

 

The last day of school will be June 3rd, 2016.

 Meta de asistencia diaria para este año: nuestra meta es de 97% o mejor.  Aseguremos que nuestros alumnos estén  presente y atiempo diariamente.
 

 

 

 

 

 

Los últimos 30 minutos de clase son muy activos.  Los alumnos y maestros están ocupados terminando lecciones, distribuyendo formas o tareas, preparando mochilas, y organizándose en grupos para la despidida.
Por esta razón les pedimos que no recoja a su hijo/a después de las 2:00 pm.  Cuando no hay interrupción con los procedimientos del fin del día aseguramos que todos los alumnos sean despedidos in peligro.
