Hello Metzger Mustangs! My name is Wilisha "Wish" Hardeway and I am your 6th grade counselor.  I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston- Victoria in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in School Counseling.

As a counselor, I am committed to creating a supportive and open environment dedicated to meeting the social and emotional needs of all students; while building a partnership between the students, parents, school staff, and community. I am an advocate for my students.  It is my goal to help break down any barriers that will hinder the students from reaching their utmost potential. Also, I am a resource for parents to ensure we help the students become successful individuals in our society. My door is always open! I look forward to working with your children and you this year.
