9:45- 10:30 Social Studies

10:30- 10:45 Recess

10:45-11:15 Lunch

11:15- 12:15 Science

12:15- 1:00 Student Specials/ Teacher Conference Period

                     (specials schedule can be found on weekely newsletter sent

                      home with your child)

1:00- 2:15 Math

2:15- 2:30 Dismissal

***Schedule times are approximate due to the fact that a hands- on, integrated curriculum has been shown to benefit student learning.  For example science and social studies could be taught through reading or during centers when appropriate.  This allows the kids to have repeated exposure to the materials they are learning, and it allows them to learn it in more than one way.  If you have any questions about this please feel free to ask!
