Snacks
Third grade will be taking a five minute snack break in the morning. During this break, your child may bring a nutritional item to eat from home. Please avoid the following items due to a high risk of choking: whole grapes, popcorn, and nuts/seeds. Below is a list of healthy snack foods that kids enjoy: -
Teddy grahams -
canned fruit packed in water -
chex mix -
veggie slices with dip -
cheese sticks -
crackers and cheese -
yogurt dip -
goldfish baked cheese crackers -
mini muffins -
fig newtons -
granola bars -
cubed cheese with crackers -
banana -
